I like to have a little project going on at all times. Something I can pull out to work on when I get a minute alone to keep me from wasting all my time on pinterest. This has been the project for the last little while. And by a little while, i mean it took forever. But I loved making it! There were a few frustrating things that I came across every once in a while that just about drove me crazy (Bri...) but it was so worth it. It was a labor of love for my children. Here it is:
Cover |
Barn page |
6 finger puppets |
The pieces of the caterpillar snap on/off and can be stored in the little "cocoon" |
Balloons button on/off |
The rocket moves up and down that string and the other pieces velcro on |
Garden page. There are buttonholes in the dirt so carrots and beets/radishes can be planted/harvested from the garden and the apples have velcro on the backs. |
Veggies can be put in the back of the truck after being picked. The wheels button on/off |
My favorite, the road page. |
This page has home, the fire station (which stores the fire truck), the church, and a building that can catch on fire. |
Carnival, school, tunnel (Trevor's current favorite), gas station and car wash |
The animal heads have velcro sewn on the backs |
Abacus page with wooden beads (painted by Ben) |
Giant pocket on the back cover to hold cars, crayons, etc. |
It turned out sooooo cute! You are so talented! I love the road page and I am floored at all the details you included. You're so good!
